If you’re a bored with the basic barbecue steak, how about making one that’s a bit different.
Marinade:
- Olive oil,
- Garlic, 2-3 cloves, minced,
- 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of brown sugar,
- Black pepper, grounded, to taste
- salt, to taste
Sauce, optional
- Extra virgin olive oil, for a better aroma,
- Balsamic vinegar,
- Garlic, 2-3 cloves, minced,
- oregano,
- crushed red pepper flakes,
- Black pepper, grounded, to taste,
- salt, to taste
Let’s start with the steak by seasoning with salt and pepper. Mix all of the marinade ingredients, and marinate the steak between 2 hours to overnight in your refrigerator. The sauce is optional, or you can use it for salad dressing instead. Mix garlic, oregano, and black pepper. Add balsamic vinegar and stir until they are properly mixed. Next, the olive oil. Finally add salt to your liking.
Take the steak out of refrigerator 30 minutes before you’re planning to grill. Grill each side for 3-5 minutes for medium rare, or add 2 more minutes for medium.
