OK, allow me to explain. The title is a pun of some old Indonesian saying that means someone might have an ulterior motive for doing whatever he’s doing. And since we’re doing shrimp.. so.. sort of.. anyway.. Let’s move on
What you’ll need for the patties:
- Peeled and cleaned shrimps, I made 4 patties out of about 200 gram-ish of shrimps
- Bread crumbs
- Egg, I used just a single egg for the aforementioned 200 gram-ish shrimps
- Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, crushed
- Lemon juice, just a little bit, not too much
Salad:
- Lettuce, shredded
- Onion
- Tomatoes, thinly sliced
- Olive oil
- Apple vinegar
- Lemon juice
- Black pepper, chrushed
For the patties. Divide your shrimp into 2 portions, chop the first portion into small chunks, and put the second portion into a food processor and pulse until smooth
Heat up the pan with a tiny bit of margarine or oil. You can either form the patties before you cook them, or just chuck in a sizable amount of the shrimp to the pan, and form the patty while cooking it with a wooden spatula.
